A slacker who does his best to avoid confrontation strikes up an unlikely friendship with a dangerous thug who suddenly forces his way into his life.

A young New York fashion executive’s trip to Milan takes a bad turn when he is kidnapped and whisked off to an Alpine village to be held for ransom money. Little does he (or his three abductors) know that the small, rustic cottage they end up spending the night in is under a gypsy love spell. Or that when they awaken, they will be Smitten! by the first living soul that meets their eyes.

Also known as THE LONELY DESTINY OF JOHN TRAVOLTO, it’s the first and only Travoltasploitation movie. It’s about a hotel cook named Gianni who can’t dance but is frustratingly in love with the sexy blonde DJ (Cicciolina) at the nightclub “John’s Fever”. When one of the cook’s coworkers draws a mustache and beard on a poster of John Travolta everyone somehow finally notices that Gianni looks exactly like Travolta and the game is on.
