Ben 10 was an American animated series created by Man of Action, and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The series is about a 10 year old boy named Ben Tennyson who gets a watch-like alien device called the “Omnitrix”. Attached to his wrist, this allows him to transform into various alien creatures.
The pilot episode aired on December 27, 2005, as part of a sneak peek of Cartoon Network’s Saturday morning lineup. The second episode was shown as a special on Cartoon Network’s Fridays on January 13, 2006, and the final regular episode aired on April 15, 2008.
The series gradually became popular among audiences, evolving into a franchise, being nominated for two Emmy Awards, winning one for “Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation”. Ben 10 was succeeded by Ben 10: Alien Force, which itself was succeeded in April 2010 by Ben 10: Ultimate Alien. A new series called Ben 10: Omniverse premiered in September 2012.
Teen Titans is an American animated television series based on the DC Comics characters of the same name, primarily the run of stories by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez in the early-1980s The New Teen Titans comic book series. It premiered on Cartoon Network on July 19, 2003 with the episode “Divide and Conquer” and the final episode “Things Change” aired on January 16, 2006, with the film Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo serving as the series finale. A comic book series, Teen Titans Go!, was based on the TV series. On June 8, 2012, it was announced that the series would be revived as Teen Titans Go! in April 23, 2013 and air on the DC Nation block.IT now airs on the Boomerang channel.
Young Justice is an Emmy Award winning American animated television series created by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman for Cartoon Network. Despite its title, it is not a direct adaptation of Peter David, Todd Dezago and Todd Nauck’s Young Justice comic series, but rather an adaptation of the entire DC Universe with a focus on young superheroes. The series follows the lives of teenaged heroes and sidekicks who are members of a fictional covert operation group called The Team. The Team is essentially a young counterpart to the famous adult team, the Justice League. The main setting is the fictional universe of Earth-16, during a time period in which superheroes are a relatively recent phenomenon. The series debuted with an hour long special on November 26, 2010 with the airing of the first two episodes, “Independence Day” and “Fireworks”. Young Justice premiered on September 9, 2011 on Teletoon, in Canada. The series ended alongside fellow DC Nation show Green Lantern: The Animated Series after its second season came to a conclusion during spring 2013. Because of this, their slots will be taken by new shows Beware the Batman and Teen Titans Go!, respectively.
