A film with no spoken dialogue, just follows the music and lyrics of Benjamin Britten’s “War Requiem, which include WWI soldier poet Wilfred Owen’s poems reflecting the war’s horrors. It shows the story of an Englishman soldier (Wilfred Owen) and a nurse (his bride) during World War I. It also includes actual footage of contemporary wars (WWII, Vietnam, Angola, etc.)
Napoleon, exiled, devises a plan to retake the throne. He’ll swap places with commoner Eugene Lenormand, sneak into Paris, then Lenormand will reveal himself and Napoleon will regain his throne. Things don’t go at all well; first, the journey proves more difficult than expected, but more disastrously, Lenormand enjoys himself too much to reveal the deception. Napoleon adjusts somewhat uneasily to the life of a commoner while waiting, while Lenormand gorges on rich food.
A modern-dress adaptation of Christopher Marlowe’s Elizabethan tragedy about King Edward II’s homosexual relationship with the ambitious Gaveston, and his overthrow by the queen and the outraged nobility.

The myth of King Arthur brought to the screen. Uthur Pendragon is given the mystical sword Excalibur by Merlyn. At his death Uthur buries the sword into a stone, and the next man that can pull it out will be King of England. Years later Arthur, Uthur’s bastard son draws Excalibur and becomes king. Arthur’s evil half-sister Morgana sires a son with him, who may prove his downfall.
