Seoul, South Korea, September 21st, 2008. Eight citizens, the first to intervene as jurors in the country’s legal history, are randomly selected to examine a matricide case that appears to have been resolved due to the existence of apparently conclusive evidence.
A young woman leaves the city to return to her hometown in the countryside. Seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, she becomes self-sufficient in a bid to reconnect with nature.
A man’s affair with his family’s housemaid leads to a dark consequences. Eun-yi is hired as an au pair for Hae-ra (pregnant with twins) and her rich husband Hoon.
