Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays is a Canadian television sitcom that debuted on CBC Television in 2011.

Described by the National Post as a cross between What About Bob? and Frasier, the show stars Matt Watts as Michael, a neurotic young man who sees his therapist twice a week, and Bob Martin as David, his therapist who views Michael as an ideal guinea pig for the experimental psychiatric techniques he hopes will turn him into a bestselling pop psychology writer. Filmed in Ottawa, the show’s cast also includes Jennifer Irwin, Pablo Silveira, Martha Burns and Tommie-Amber Pirie.

8 Simple Rules is an American sitcom television series, originally starring John Ritter and Katey Sagal. It debuted on ABC on September 17, 2002, and concluded on April 15, 2005. Ritter’s character in the series was not replaced following his death on September 11, 2003. After entering a hiatus, the series continued without Ritter, incorporating the death of his character. James Garner and David Spade joined the cast afterward. ABC cancelled the series on May 17, 2005 after three seasons due to low ratings.

The Cleveland Show is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Henry, and Richard Appel for the Fox Broadcasting Company as a spin-off of Family Guy. The series centers on the Browns and Tubbs, two dysfunctional families consisting of parents Cleveland Brown and Donna Tubbs and their children Cleveland Brown, Jr., Roberta Tubbs, and Rallo Tubbs, and, like Family Guy, exhibits much of its humor in the form of cutaway gags that often lampoon American culture.

Men in Trees is an American romantic television comedy-drama series which premiered on September 12, 2006 on ABC and starred Anne Heche who played relationship coach Marin Frist. The series was set in the fictional town of Elmo, Alaska and concerned Marin Frist’s misadventures in relationships. The premise showed at least superficial similarities to the HBO television series Sex and the City, which also featured a romantically-oriented, female writer. The protagonist’s apparent “fish-out-of-water” feeling in a remote, small, Alaskan town can be likened to CBS’s Northern Exposure. The protagonists in both series were New Yorkers thrust into small town Alaska societies. Filming for the series was based in Squamish, British Columbia.

Five episodes of the first production season, which were not yet shown on ABC, debuted in New Zealand on the TV2 network in June 2007 and July 2007. The five carryover episodes aired on ABC after the first episode of the second production season, beginning October 19. Men In Trees was cancelled on May 4, 2008. Its final episodes aired in the summer of 2008 as a burnoff.

Over a series of rounds, the two teams of two present Harry with fun stuff which Harry must adjudicate on and ultimately decide what’s in and what’s out of the Fun Capsule with the triumphant team winning bragging rights. Along the way there will be sketches, studio items and special guests. And the occasional appearance of an alien.

Courage the Cowardly Dog is an American comedy horror animated television series created by John R. Dilworth for Cartoon Network. Its central plot revolves around a somewhat anthropomorphic pink/purple dog named Courage who lives with his owners, Muriel and Eustace Bagge, an elderly, married farming couple in the “Middle of Nowhere”. Courage and his owners are frequently thrown into bizarre misadventures, often involving the paranormal/supernatural and various villains. The show is known for its surreal, often disquieting humor and bizarre plot twists. The series combines elements of comedy horror, science fantasy, and drama.

The program originated from a short on Cartoon Network’s animation showcase series created by Hanna-Barbera president Fred Seibert, “What a Cartoon!” titled “The Chicken from Outer Space”. The segment was nominated for an Academy Award in 1996, and Cartoon Network commissioned a series based on the short. The series, which premiered on November 12, 1999, ran for four seasons, ending on November 22, 2002 with a total of 52 episodes produced. The series was the sixth and final series to be spun off from World Premiere Toons, and it was the eighth series to fall under the Cartoon Cartoons label.
