Bridezillas is an American reality television series that airs on WE tv and debuted on June 1, 2004. It chronicles the lives of women engaged to be married, casting their busy schedules in an emphatic and sometimes humorous fashion.

The word “bridezilla” is a portmanteau combining bride with the fictional rampaging beast “Godzilla” to indicate a difficult bride.

Andy Millman gave up his day job five years ago in the hope of achieving the big time, but he’s yet to land a speaking part, let alone saunter down the red carpet to pick up an Oscar. Coupling is a British television sitcom written by Steven Moffat that aired on BBC2 from May 2000 to June 2004. The series was inspired by Moffat’s relationship with producer Sue Vertue, to the extent that they gave their names to two of the characters. The critical reaction was largely positive, and the show was named “Best TV Comedy” at the 2003 British Comedy Awards. The show debuted to unimpressive ratings, but its popularity soon increased and by the end of the third series the show had achieved decent ratings in the UK. The series began airing on PBS stations and on BBC America in the United States in late 2002 and quickly gained a devoted fanbase there as well. The show is syndicated around the world. Short-lived American and Greek adaptations were briefly produced in 2003 and 2007 respectively.

It is intended to be a spoof of the epic-scale “TV event” miniseries adapted from bestselling novels prevalent on American network television in the 1970s and 80s. The miniseries premiered on IFC on January 9, 2014.

Misfits is a British science fiction comedy-drama television show, on the network Channel 4, about a group of young offenders sentenced to work in a community service programme, where they obtain supernatural powers after a strange electrical storm. The series started in 2009 and is currently ongoing.

Antonia Thomas, Iwan Rheon, Lauren Socha, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, and Robert Sheehan are introduced as Alisha Daniels, Simon Bellamy, Kelly Bailey, Curtis Donovan, and Nathan Young respectively. Sheehan left after the second series, replaced in the third by Joseph Gilgun as Rudy Wade. After the third series was announced Rheon, Thomas and Socha had left their roles and would be replaced by new cast members Karla Crome, Nathan McMullen and Matt Stokoe, as Jess, Finn and Alex respectively. Midway through the fourth series, Stewart-Jarrett left while Natasha O’Keeffe joined the cast as Abbey Smith.

On 19 March 2013, Channel 4 announced at a press event that they have renewed Misfits for a fifth and final series containing 8 episodes.
