Loosely inspired by the director’s own memory of a girl’s disappearance from her village, the film follows Arlene (Antonia Campbell-Hughes), a young factory worker living alone in a rural Irish community.

The movie is a post-apocalyptic horror/science fiction film. the setting is in a near post apocalyptic future where a biological warfare program goes wrong, and turns most of humanity to mindless, murderous creatures.

As one of them said when Nan walked away, “HE will be PLEASED.”

When cop David is injured in a drug bust gone wrong, his partner Cal chases the two criminals who shot him. The shy teenager Tom McHugh worships his sexy neighbor Geena Matthews that lives on the other side of the street, but he does not dare to talk to her.
