American Ninja Warrior is a sports entertainment competition spin-off of the television series Sasuke. The series began on December 12, 2009, in Los Angeles, with the top 10 competitors moving on to compete at “Mt. Midoriyama” in Japan. American Ninja Warrior succeeded G4’s American Ninja Challenge as the qualifying route for Americans to enter Sasuke. Beginning with the fourth season in 2012, regional finalists and wild card competitors competed on an identical Mt. Midoriyama course in Las Vegas rather than traveling to Japan to compete on Sasuke. NBC announced in September 2013 that it would air a special USA versus Japan series later that year wherein top American and Japanese competitors would go head-to-head on the Las Vegas Mt. Midoriyama course.

The fifth season of American Ninja Warrior premiered on June 30, 2013 on G4.

The Angry Video Game Nerd is an adult web television series of comedic retrogaming video reviews created by and starring James Rolfe. The show’s format revolves around his commentary and review of older, but unsuccessful video games which are deemed to be of particularly low-quality, unfair difficulty or poor design.

The series began as a feature on YouTube and later became a program on ScrewAttack Entertainment before moving to GameTrailers exclusively. The show was renamed The Angry Video Game Nerd to prevent any trademark issues with Nintendo and due to the fact he started reviewing games from non-Nintendo consoles such as those made by Atari and Sega.

Rolfe’s character, “The Nerd” is a short-tempered and foul-mouthed video game fanatic. He derives comic appeal from excessive and inventive use of anger, profanity, and habitual consumption of alcohol while reviewing video games.

A feature-length film, Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie, is expected to be released between 2013 and 2014.

Originating as an NFL Network special on the career of Bill Parcells in November 2010, it premiered as an episodic series on September 15, 2011, with the first part of Bill Belichick’s documentary. The documentary was viewed by about 657,000 viewers, the most-watched documentary in NFL Network’s history, and was the second-most watched program in Boston at the time with 151,000 viewers, trailing behind a Boston Red Sox game. The Joy of Painting was an American television show hosted by painter Bob Ross that taught its viewers techniques for landscape oil painting. Although Ross could complete a painting in half an hour, the intent of the show was not to teach viewers “speed painting”. Rather, he intended for viewers to learn certain techniques within the time that the show was allotted. The show began on January 11, 1983, and lasted until May 17, 1994, a year before Ross’ death.

An ordinary night bus has been kitted out with cameras for this series, witnessing the funny, surprising and sometimes moving interaction between passengers after dark. From late night revellers and tourists visiting the West End to shift-workers leaving home at first light, the series will provide an intimate portrait of London at night and the round-the-clock efforts made by drivers and support staff to keep the night bus working for London.
