Ian McKay and his best friend Shinky are two young punks searching for their great destinies in the back alleys of Calgary Alberta, circa 1980. Together, these friends will face down cowboys and oilmen, hockey goons and movie snobs, odd-jobbers and hairdressers… and through it all they’ll find a way to grow up without selling out.

With the help of Ian’s flawed, but loving family (father Lloyd, mom Helen, and his outrageously outgoing sister Belinda), Ian and Shinky find new opportunities to blow minds every week, exporting their special brand of offbeat revolution for the 80’s – seeking out love and working to change the world, one young drunk punk at a time.

Sex comedy takes a look at contemporary dating mores and hypothesizes that the new dating location may be the dog walk in the park. A mild-mannered man loses his present girl friend to another man. His attraction to a kid’s TV show hostess goes nowhere because of her obsession with her dog, Peanut. He then gets hooked up with an overly exuberant blonde who overwhelms him. He even lost his collie, Mogley, when his girl friend moved out. In a funny sub-plot, the collie is going to a doggie psychiatrist who determines the dog is being traumatized by his mistress’ sexual antics. Jeri and Jeff are best friends whose constant smooching simply makes the leads life less comfortable.

John and his girlfriend have vowed to marry once they save $30,000 for their dream house. But the minute they achieve their financial goal, John finds out his niece has been accepted at Harvard, and he’s reminded of his promise to pay for her tuition (nearly $30,000). John’s friend Duff convinces him to turn to petty crime to make the payment … but Duff’s hare-brained schemes spin quickly out of control.

Comedy about two high school girls who wander off during a class trip to the White House and meet President Richard Nixon. They become the official dog walkers for Nixon’s dog Checkers, and become his secret advisors during the Watergate scandal.
