G.T. Benz, a Viet Nam vet and recent widower, tries to cope with the problems of aging and loneliness — while beset by an aggressive robo-caller. The tedium and aggravations in his life are only relieved by a weekly get-together with his old ‘Nam buddies, ex-fighter pilots like himself. He joyfully looks forward to a promised visit from his long absent daughter, “Tricia,” whom he describes as “my only reason for living.” A poor prognosis from his doctor gives urgency to his desire to see her at least one more time. However, Tricia, unaware of G.T.’s state of health, keeps putting off her visit. Meanwhile, a ‘Nam buddy dies, and the robocalls become more intense. When a manipulative woman emerges from G.T.’s past, his life is thrown into chaos and he is driven to a desperate act.

Our RoboCop Remake is a crowd-sourced film project based on the 1987 Paul Verhoeven classic. Organized through Channel 101 and a bunch of other places, we’re 50 filmmakers (amateur and professional) from Los Angeles and New York who have split the original RoboCop up into individual pieces and have remade the movie ourselves. Not necessarily a shot-for-shot remake, but a scene-for-scene retelling. As big fans of the original RoboCop, and as filmmakers and film fans admittedly rolling our eyes at the Hollywood remake machine, we’ve elected to do this remake thing our own way.

Old St. Leopold’s Hospital has many urban legends surrounding it, but the residents of Bridgeport all agree on one thing: tortured souls roam its abandoned halls. The mystery proves too much for a pretty young student who decides to investigate for her senior class project. Unfortunately, she does not find ghosts. She, instead, finds Stanley… serial rapist, murderer, and psychopath. As the young girl becomes Stanley’s new pet, a team of young investigators descend on the hospital to “hunt some ghosts.” Stanley sees nothing but fun and games in his future. But, what Stanley does not know is that the hospital truly is haunted and the restless spirits there are not happy with what he has been doing.
