Ex-soldiers on a yachting trip run into the ghosts of victims of a massacre. Cast as a Vietnam War veteran, Law takes Ekland on a yachting trip where they are joined by two of his friends, also Vietnam veterans, and their wives. During their time at sea, each member of the group is killed, one by one, leaving only Ekland and the apparent killer on board.
A researcher at Chicago’s Natural History Museum returns from South America with some crates containing his findings. When the crates arrive at the museum without the owner there appears to be very little inside. However, police discover gruesome murders on the cargo ship that brought the crates to the US and then another murder in the museum itself.
New Yorkers, Skip Donahue and Harry Monroe, have no jobs and no prospects. They decide to flee the city and find work elsewhere, and land jobs as woodpeckers to promote the opening of a bank. When their feathery costumes are stolen and used in a bank robbery, they no longer have to worry about employment — they’re sent to prison!
