1892, Saint Petersburg. Sasha, a young Russian aristocrat, has always been fascinated by her grandfather’s life as an adventurer. A renowned explorer, he designed a magnificent arctic ship, but he hasn’t returned from his last expedition to the North Pole. To save her family’s honor, Sasha runs away. Headed towards the Great North, she follows her grandfather’s trail in search of his famous ship.

Blackie, the black sheep, is obsessed with going to the moon. Kanuto, the sheepdog, is obsessed with Blackie, but he will not hear of rockets. However, undertaking the trip just dreamed Blackie. Along the way are cows that are opera singers, gallant wolves, spiders illegal immigrants and a strange little group of dogs that have a rocket ready to take off. But Pinky, a huge pink sheep devilish character, prevents it.

Set in the near future, Lockout follows a falsely convicted ex-government agent , whose one chance at obtaining freedom lies in the dangerous mission of rescuing the President’s daughter from rioting convicts at an outer space maximum security prison.

Les Chevaliers du ciel (English: Sky Fighters) is a 2005 French film directed by Gérard Pirès about two air force pilots preventing a terrorist attack on the Bastille Day celebrations in Paris. It is based on Tanguy et Laverdure, a comics series by Jean-Michel Charlier and Albert Uderzo – of Astérix fame, which was also made into a hugely successful TV series from 1967 to 1969 making Tanguy and Laverdure, the two main heroes, part of popular Francophone culture.
