An elite team of six female rookie police recruits fails to graduate as they resist to retreat in the final test when the situation gets out of hand. But their eminence provides them with another opportunity – “The Rafflesia”, a special female force that was disbanded 25 years ago when the mission failed, which is now looking for new blood to resume operation. Their first mission is to capture the notorious triad leader “President”, who caused the disbandment of “The Rafflesia” 25 years ago. He takes hostage of medical scientist Yoshida for his knowledge in virus to threaten different countries and ultimately plot a physical robbery. Eager to become real police officers, the girls accept the offer despite the level of danger involves.

Only after an ambitious property agent, Charlie, joins a successful agency run by a rich couple, Gordon and Lucy, did he realise the horrific secret behind the company’s success. They make a high profit by buying properties for cheap after someone has died or been murdered there and then selling them back with exorbitant prices without mentioning the truth to the buyers. Charlie is caught in an ethical dilemma where he continues on selling these properties but is constantly haunted by the supernatural beings there.

After incurring debts from his failed business venture in China, Zong Hua (Cheung) returns to Malaysia after a decade’s hiatus. The demoralised Zong Hua faces problems finding a job and tries hard to get used to things at home, including his estranged relationship with his step-father, Xiaotian, who runs a Cantonese opera troupe, and half-sister, Jing Jing (Cathryn Lee). Jing Jing is hostile towards Zong Hua as she always has the impression that the death of their mother was caused by the excessive fights between Zong Hua and his step-father.

The film centers around a Malaysian pharmaceutical company using a new virus to generate an epidemic. A secret organization, known as “The Leaker”, discloses this information. After the suicide of the pharmaceutical company’s son and a local reporter, the wife of the pharmaceutical company’s owner leaves for Hong Kong. A Malaysian police chief , Hong Kong police officer, and journalist work together to locate her whereabouts.
