During a brief meeting with Julia on this trip, Lillian learns that Julia has had a child which is called Lilly.
Set in the early 1920s, the film follows Tom Birkin, who has been employed to carry out restoration work on a Medieval mural discovered in a church in the small rural community of Oxgodby, Yorkshire.
