Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman is an American Western drama series created by Beth Sullivan and starring Jane Seymour who plays Dr. Michaela “Mike” Quinn, a physician who leaves Boston in search of adventure in the American West and who settles in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Love My Way is a Logie Award winning and critically acclaimed Australian television drama series. It won the AFI award for Best Television Drama Series for each of its three seasons.

Love My Way was about a group of thirty-somethings dealing with the ups and downs of life. The series revolves around an extended family unit – Frankie Paige and Charlie Jackson are the separated parents of Lou, and Frankie also lives with Charlie’s brother, Tom. As the series began, Charlie’s new wife Julia is about to have their first child. Frankie’s mother, Di and Charlie’s mother Brenda and father Gerry also have a strong presence in the ongoing story, as does Julia’s ex-lover Howard, who enters into a relationship with Frankie.

Produced by John Edwards and Claudia Karvan, Love My Way starred Karvan, Sam Worthington, Dan Wyllie, Asher Keddie, Brendan Cowell, and Alex Cook. As the program was made for subscription television in Australia, it contained stronger material than most Australian programs: regular swearing, drug use and sexual references.

When the series was launched, much was made of the connection between Love My Way and The Secret Life of Us: both sharing a star, as well as significant creative talent. However, the series is not a continuation of Secret Life, although it does share some thematic concerns.

The year is Post Disaster 323. More than 300 years after a great war between Earth and Mars known as the “Calamity War”, Mars has been successfully terraformed and colonized by humans. However even with the technological advancements, the humans on Mars crave freedom against the government of Earth and seek to improve their livelihoods. Furthermore, while most of Mars’ nations have received autonomy, the planet is virtually dependent on Earth for economic development. A young orphan named Mikazuki Augus is part of a group of children who work for the civilian security company Chryse Guard Security, entrusted with the safety of the Martian Princess Kudelia Aina Bernstein, who has plans for her nation of Chryse to secure independence from Earth. One day, the group was attacked by the Earth Military organization Gjallarhorn, which aims to stop the Martian independence movement. During the attack, the leader of the children and the Third Army Division within CGS, Orga Itsuka, decides to rebel against the adults and higher-ups who had escaped and left the children and foot-soldiers to remain and fight as decoys. Augus must now choose to either follow his friends, or his mission as he stumbles into the legendary mobile suit: the Gundam Barbatos.

A cat-and-mouse series with a twist on the everyday whodunit, “Motive” centers on Angie Flynn, a detective on a backwards chase for clues to a killer that has already been revealed to viewers. The series, filmed in Vancouver, is an unconventional way to watch a crime unfold. Each episode begins by revealing to the audience, not only the victim, but the killer as well. The homicide detective then begins to piece together clues. How did they do it? How are the victim and killer connected? What’s the motive? As the mystery unfolds, the audience navigates the twisted and complicated maze of each murder and solves the puzzle alongside Det. Flynn and her team.

Nearby is the town of Mount Sunshine – and it’s there that our main character, Savannah, stops on her way to research Sonnigsburg. Savannah’s ex, Jade, has called her out of the blue, eight years after breaking-up and desperate for help – but when Savannah arrives in town and her past begins to catch up with her, the history of the town begins to seep through the cracks and she realises that the residents of Mount Sunshine are all haunted in their own way.
