In each episode, three cake designers compete to earn a job for a client looking for the perfect pastry for a wedding, family reunion or other bash. When a client picks a cake, the designer quickly learns that making the cake is just half of the battle; it then has to make it to its destination, which can be a tall task for an elaborate pastry. Each winning cake must make it to the party on time and in one piece before the designer’s job is done.

Property Brothers is a Canadian reality television series that is produced by Cineflix. It airs on W Network and HGTV. Identical twin brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott help home buyers to purchase and renovate “fixer-uppers.”
Drew is a real estate expert who scouts neglected houses and negotiates the purchases. His identical twin brother Jonathan is a licensed contractor who does the renovations of the houses. Together, the Property Brothers help families find, buy, and transform fixer-uppers into dream homes on a strict time-line and strict budget.
Each episode starts with the brothers showing buyers a house with everything on their wish list that tends to be substantially over their budget. Afterward, the brothers show them fixer-uppers with potential to become their dream home. After the buyers narrow it down to two houses, the brothers use computer-generated imagery to reveal their re-imagined vision of the home after renovations.
The show has a condensed time-line of the renovations. Typical of home improvement shows with an accelerated renovation format, the brothers have three experienced crews work on the house to finish in the 4 to 6 week timeline. They work with real project budgets set out by the buyers. The buyers own the property and pay for the remodelling, but the show is able to provide about $20,000 to $25,000 worth of furnishings.
Alan Thicke, one of Hollywood’s most famous TV dads, stars in the role of his life in Unusually Thicke, an original reality sitcom—but not even seven seasons as Dr. Jason Seaver on Growing Pains could prepare him to be the patriarch of his own real-life modern family. Between his feisty younger wife, Tanya, his opinionated teenage son, Carter, and his iconic career, Alan has his hands full in a unique series that follows the family’s daily drama and humor.
Most people enjoy the modern technologies and conveniences of today — smartphones, tablets, cable and satellite TV among them — but there are people who choose to live off the grid and in the unspoiled wilderness, where dangers like mudslides, falling trees and bears are all parts of life. “Mountain Men” profiles three such people. Eustace Conway, who has lived at the western edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina for more than 25 years, teaches interns about the old ways of living with nature. Tom Oar needs an entire year to prepare for the seven-month-long winter on Montana’s Yaak River. In Alaska, Marty Meierotto must gather enough wood to survive, in complete isolation, winters that can have temperatures drop to as low as 60 degrees below zero. It’s not an easy life but for these mountain men, it’s life as they know it.

Snooki & Jwoww, sometimes rendered Snooki & JWoww or Snooki & JWOWW in print and online sources, is an American reality television series on MTV starring Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jennifer “JWoww” Farley. It is the first of two spin-offs of Jersey Shore, on which both Polizzi and Farley previously gained fame as cast members. The series, which is executive produced by Jersey Shore producer SallyAnn Salsano of 495 Productions, is described by its stars as a modern-day Laverne & Shirley. The first season focuses on Polizzi and Farley living together in a former firehouse in Jersey City, New Jersey, though Polizzi’s pregnancy, which was confirmed during filming of the first season, led to a change in episode content and tone that would distance it from the party-oriented antics of its parent show. Filming began on the first season February 25, 2012, and lasted five weeks. The series premiered June 21, 2012. A second season was confirmed on August 3, 2012, and premiered on January 8, 2013. On April 25, 2013 MTV renewed the series for a third season, which will premiere on October 22, 2013.
The show’s theme song is “I Love It” by Swedish DJ and synthpop duo Icona Pop.
