Leo is an ordinary teenager who has moved into a high-tech “smart” house with his mother, inventor stepfather and Eddy, the computer that runs the house. Mrs. Brown’s Boys is a British-Irish award winning sitcom created by and starring writer and performer Brendan O’Carroll. The show is based on O’Carroll’s stage plays about the character Agnes Browne, which were developed from books and straight-to-DVD films. The sitcom continues the stories of Agnes, now with the shortened surname “Brown”, and her family who are played by real life close friends and family of O’Carroll’s. After being slated by critics, the show has become a ratings success in both Ireland, where it is set, and the United Kingdom, where it is recorded. Petticoat Junction is an American situation comedy. The series is one of three interrelated shows about rural characters created by Paul Henning. The characters “seem” to go to Hooterville for some goods and services, including high school and the hospital, but prefer Pixley for supermarket shopping, beauty parlors, and movies.
The petticoat of the title is an old-fashioned garment once worn under a woman’s skirt. The opening titles of the series featured a display of petticoats hanging on the side of the railway’s water tower where the three originally teenage daughters are apparently bathing in the nude or skinny-dipping. In fact, the show’s opening theme contains a hint of sexual innuendo in the line, “Lotsa curves, you bet, and even more when you get to the Junction.” This is an obvious double entendre referring to both the train tracks and the Bradley daughters. However, as Linda Kaye states on the official season one DVD set, the name of the town Hooterville was not a reference to the slang term “hooters” meaning breasts, because that term was unheard of in the 1960s.

It is a sequel/spin-off of the Disney Channel Original Series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. The series follows twin brothers Zack and Cody Martin and hotel heiress London Tipton in a new setting, the SS Tipton, where they attend classes at “Seven Seas High” and meet Bailey Pickett while Mr. Moseby manages the ship.
